About ZFW

ZFW is rooted in aviation, Texas skies, and the belief that every mission starts with what we choose to carry.

The name carries two meanings.

First, ZFW is a nod to our home skies under Fort Worth Center — the airspace that has shaped so many flights, routes, and stories across North Texas and beyond.

Second, ZFW stands for Zero Fuel Weight — the weight of an aircraft before usable fuel is added.

In aviation, what you carry matters. Too much payload leaves less room for fuel. Less fuel means less range. Every flight begins with a choice about what belongs on board, what needs to be left behind, and how far you are trying to go.

That idea became the foundation for ZFW Coffee Company.

Because life works the same way.
